Hi! Since this is my first post, I figure that I probably should introduce myself here.
Call me Alexandria.
Perhaps by now, some of you have figured out that it’s not my real name. However, for the sake of anonymity in the world wide web, let’s pretend that it is.
What is the first thing that pops in your mind when you hear the name “Alexandria”? Is it the album released by Indonesian group band, Peterpan, on 2005? Is it the Indonesian movie starring Julie Estelle that was released on the same year Peterpan released their album?, or is it the city located on the Mediterranian coast of Egypt?
For me, it’s all of the above, but for now, I’d like to talk about Alexandria, the city.
Alexandria was founded by Alexander The Great on 331 B.C. Naturally, like every founder, Alexander wanted to name the city with an element of his name, hence “Alexandria”.
